How to Update POM Mobile Companion Device Firmware

Keeping your POM Mobile Companion Device firmware up to date ensures optimal performance and compatibility with the POM Safe app. Follow the steps below to complete a firmware update.

Steps to Update

1. Power on your POM Mobile Companion Device.
2. Open the POM Safe app. The app should automatically connect with your Companion Device via Bluetooth.
3. Tap Profile in the app.
4. Select POM Mobile.
5. Tap Update to begin the firmware update.
6. Stay on the screen until the update has fully completed. Do not close the app or power off the device during this process.

Important: Closing the app or powering off the Companion Device during a firmware update may interrupt the process. If this occurs, restart the device and repeat the steps above.
