📱 POM Mobile 2.17.0
What's new
-
Push Notifications are now the default for Check On Me alerts. Previously, Check On Me user alerts defaulted to SMS. New and existing users will now receive these as Push Notifications by default. If notifications aren't enabled on your device, the app will prompt you to turn them on.
-
No more Risk Survey after an SOS. If your Check On Me escalates to an SOS, you won't be asked to complete a Risk Survey when it's resolved.
-
In-app update prompts. Starting with this release, the app can let you know when a newer version is available. If you're on an outdated version in the future, you'll see a prompt asking you to update.
- Clearer Fake Call timer description. Updated the help text on the Fake Call default timer setting so it's obvious what the timer controls — and that Fake Calls triggered from a POM Device always ring immediately, regardless of this setting.
Bug fixes
- Fixed an issue where users were unable to check out of a Check On Me after the app had been backgrounded for roughly an hour or more.
